Eh? You should have posted a pic of you stripping ............. your rifle.
Wow, Mr. Miyagi! Not bad indeed!
The 1st pic looks kinda weird, but the 2nd pic with you in full uniform... well, no complaints. Pretty droolsome, in fact.
And since Gabriel will be calendar boy for Feb, how abour Kureshii as calendar boy for March? I've already put a comment on his blog bugging... errm, I mean, requesting him to put up pics of himself in his No. 1 asap. LOL~
(Dang, my boyfriend is soooo gonna kill me.)
*Hyperventilating* Hehehehehehe. Eh seriously ah, no joke, I was biting my nails, giggling and blushing in my room when I saw the 2nd picture.. (yeap, 1st pic was a little too cute to be sexy). *hehehehehe*
*heheheheheh*
*hehehehehe*
Did I forget to mention, there's something about Armour guys that's rather appealing leh.
Or maybe.. just to me only la.
*hehehehe*
And... WHAT!?!? Feb? Crazy. That's too long a wait. Must make it a weekly affair!
And yes, where's the OCS boy's?
Oh, hehehehe.
er, any commando?
Ah.. nice new wallpaper I have. More more! so i can have a collage or something. *beams*
OH MY OH MY. I just clicked the link. Oh dear oh dear! You shud have just given me the link. *silly beams*
Yeah I agree with Scarlett! Make it a weekly thing!! Make us women happy!!!
*Ting dons a set of number 4*
*Ting buns her hair up and wears a pair of black-rimmed glasses*
*whips out whips*
ROARRRRRRR...
Make us happy! It's a COMMAND!
Me in uniform? AIEEEEEEEEE!
Oh, but it'll disabuse you of your fetish in double quick time, heh heh.
I was in armour too btw. BUT NO LONGER!
I'll take the opposite approach from Scarlett:
*puts on my CHIJ pinafore*
*ties my hair into 2 ponytails*
*puts on cute little pout*
Pleease please pretty please, with lots of sugar on it? Give us more pics please?
Dang, I can't do this. Too feminine for me.
Whatever it is, just KNOCK IT DOWN FOR US, BOYS!
Oh, and high-five to you, Scarlett!
Ha. I'm from Armour too, and so are many of the other people who have posted here.
I propose that the ladies post pictures of themselves in school uniform, while we guys post photos of us in that all-too-familiar no. 4 (or no. 3 for those occifers and/or those who have taken part in major roles in NDP). This way, we can feed each others' fetishes. =P
Hai~Ren
*slaps forehead* once again, the parade is on the 23rd, no photos before that. why? because i can't risk putting on my no. 1 and soiling it - my sergeant major will hand me my ass on a silver platter. period.
and by the way, anyone who has sunday evening free can come down and watch the parade. be there by 1715 (meaning at SAFTI gate by 1700, you'll probably need to be there early since there'll be a long queue), collared shirt with pants and shoes for guys, dress or skirt for girls, and probably no spaghetti straps, tank tops etc. flout the dress code and risk turning up at SAFTI for nothing.
no dinner provided, unsurprisingly. afraid i won't be able to entertain you guys after the parade, but you're welcome to try to look for me while i'm en-route to the dining hall, i'll shake your hand and probably take a photo as well if you identify yourself. contingent 7, 1st rank, 4th man from right marker, if you happen to bring a good pair of binocs. and please give me face if you see me fidgeting in the file.
sorry to disappoint you on the biceps and abs, i'm a 51kg featherweight. the No.1 is tailor-made though, so with some photographic tricks i don't think i'll turn out too bad. now, what to do about the acne...
girls in uniform? not a bad idea ;-) no sec sch uniforms for me though, seen my younger sis through her entire sec sch term (she's st nicks, btw, so no more CHIJ uniforms for me too). I dont' mind JC uniforms though...*wink wink*
the no.4 photos will have to wait til i've clocked sufficient gym sessions, though. and the air force uniforms will probably take another year or so. i'll do you a favour and post you photos of this year's infantry sword of honour, think that should do huh.
*HaiFai merenwen* muahaha.. so when u gonna post ya uniform pic.. i also wanna see :P
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.................
just for a good laugh........
*AHEM* I shall post mine on my blog.
'They may be pervs...' Let me continue the sentence for ya, 'we may just be more pervy than them'
51kg? U r obscene. Go eat more before i look like a bulky bunch of lard beside u.
So, really ah? Uniform pics? wahaha.
I thought you need an invitation thingy to go.
And the highest rank in the SAF is civilian. They won't turn people away. Not girls at any rate. The guards like ogling too, remember?
A burning question within me.
Anyone knows erm, Mr Miyagi's actual measurement?
So, what's your height ah?
Yeah Mr. Miyagi, what ARE your, errm, vital statistics?
And an even more vital statistic (for Scarlett at least, I think): Are you attached/married? LOL~
I am a towering 1.64cm, and currently weigh in at 62kg. My CO at 46SAR said I was perfect for Armour, because if everyone were like me, we'd be able to fit 2 sections of men in the one M113. And they used to select shorties for Armour.
During the last ICT, we were grouped into combat sections for ATEC evaluation, and somehow they managed to get 10 of the shortest troopers/drivers/VC in the one APC, so we were nicknamed the Hobbit Section.
Hobbits in uniform are very appealing, doncha think?
It's a pain, because I have to stand on the ammunition shelves of the APC to operate the machine gun. Some more, as a recce bikie, and with the new Yamaha bike, my feet sometimes cannot reach the ground and I fall over when the bike stops. Still, I am a good soldier, and can always be counted on to bring sweets and biscuits for my platoon, and to make sure my poor officers get a chance to sit down and eat, because they're so hardworking they always forget themselves. (Hint, Kureshii: Always look busy, and your men will think you're on the ball).
Here's a link to more men in uniform.

The pictures are taken by a really good photographer by the name of Tan Ngiap Heng.
Enjoy!
PS: Really enjoyed your postings of your NS experiences.
1.64 is not THAT bad. *sniggers*
But hobbits in uniform is indeed appealing.. somewhat like legolas in and out of his elvish gear. what a difference the gear makes!
Well, I have a Taiwan friend who's shorter than that, but he has amazing mental strength and whoa, his eyes can really kill. He's posted to 6SIR, nayone who has an inkling who I'm talking about pls get back to me.
helloooo!!! i'm a girl and i lurve men in uniforms. :) oh and please please put more photos up!! (not that i'm desperate of cos. my guy is in OCS but he'll never let me take photos of him in any uniform.)
love this website. *encore* mr miyagi and contributors!!
oh and kureshii, it's not your fault at all... but why do u have to be commissioned on the weekend?!?!? my guy has to go back in early (sat night!) and he'll be the one stretchering you out if you faint. so yeah, just say hi to those guys for me. :P
well belle dear,
the photos won't come so soon (sorry merenwen and scarlett-san). digi-cam broke down, so i used good 'ol trusty film camera. 10 more shots before i can get the roll developed. pls be a little patient. the no.4 photos should follow shortly after. long 4 only - my arms look willowy in smart 4.
it has always been a SAFTI tradition to organise comms parades on weekends, especially sundays (probably so they can drag us back to camp the day after =P) i empathise with your poor guy and feel his pain. i presume he's from alpha wing (since you didn't state otherwise, and my sierra and tango friends are doing ushering duty). assure him that the guy he stretchered out that fateful sunday (which saw a rather screwed-up parade; don't make me elaborate) was not me.
and also please inform him on my behalf that 6 months ago, on july 25th, i booked in on sunday morning to do similar things for alpha wing (everything else that is not stretchering and ushering). luckily, i got the afternoon off, or my birthday would have gone uncelebrated. and the rest of you, please spare me details of birthdays celebrated in brunei - heard enough of those).
oh, and i had ex spade the monday after that. he'll know what the hell that is. and for his sake, continually assure him that his day will come - eventually ;-) make sure he keeps an invite for you
hi kureshii, yep u guessed right, he is in alpha wing, and most unfortunately, and he did not get the sunday afternoon off, but ah well. he did tell me about 1 guy fainting but he wasn't in charge of that section so yeah, basically he just sat there and looked at the entire thing.
are u sure it the parade was horrible? bcos he told me that he was awfully inspired by all that pomp and circumstance. heh.
i'll be sure to tell him all about what u said :). and also ex spade, what is that? a navigation exercise? cos he has a topo thingie on tmr near the mandai reservoir, where ants look like kittens and millipedes look like snakes. regardless, i hope u get posted to a nice place. :D good luck.
topo exercise? doesn't sound too bad, but in alpha wing you can never be too sure. alpha is no place for a cadet - give him all the support you can. i got the afternoon off because i wasn't needed until 10.30 at night, to move tables and chairs from VIP rooms back to their original places. and i had ex spade the next day. FYI, spade is some horrible 3-day thingum where you do almost nothing but dig trenches. not fun, but definitely memorable.
send my regards to your alpha male. and direct him to my blog if he has any doubts or questions about his training; my tagboard is horribly under-utilised (link is on the main page).
awfully inspired? hmm, glad he didn't see what i saw from the back, or perhaps his job didn't allow him to observe closely enough *heaves sigh of relief* don't worry, i am (will be) in a nice place, my little purgatory before i jump over to the RSAF, if all goes well.
It's funny how just a couple of sentences and 2 pictures could stir up 27 comments. cool. very very cool.
scarlett-san: no-one gets tired of talking about the army, that's why. there's too much to talk, remember or complain about.
sugarbean: which sister? which alma mater? you're talking about 2 sisters and 3 alma maters here...

sorry sugarbean, oversight on my part.
mr. storm, well they're all YSLs (young 2nd lieuts), you probably wouldn't see much of them yet since they'll be undergoing induction courses and all that stuff, but you might see them hanging around watching you guys. expect them to start making their presence felt a month from now.
hahaz well its juz too bad.. i got posted out of 6sir so i might not get to see them...
fantastic site. As for me, I don't have many stories to tell. This is my 6th month in my army and frankly, I haven't seen much or experienced much. I was in SISPEC for 2 days before I OOC-ed because of a torn meniscus (the cushion in your knees) and spent 14 weeks doing 'sai-kang' there. I watched trainees get tekaned till they 'didn know which is home'(bei lin chu) during the monsoon season, which was awfully hard on one's morale.
got posted to nee soon, where i'm still at, waiting for medic course... meanwhile, I'm in the trainin dept of MOCC (med. Officer Conversion Course)where we do all sorts of stupid stuff (check out my blog at http://jinxster.multiply.com) and watch the docs get tekaned. =X
huricanez >> did lta ronnie and glenn graduate from ranger?
well i'm not too sure but since i dun see the ranger badge on the left arm i assumed they didnt pass.. but then again i havent seen them go for the course.. only noe they went for the tryout..
